Desk Clock

Editors’ Review

One can have only so much time. Desk Clock is a pesky application that, despite being freeware, doesn’t do much than tick off minutes. The desktop clock has two faces, and either face can display the time in any time zone. This basic tool doesn’t offer much in the way of creativity, as you can only display either a digital or a traditional clock face or change the background color. The display sits on top of open windows or hides in the system tray; when you want to check the time, double-click the icon. Only one alarm can be set at a time, too–but we couldn’t get the alarm to play a sound. If you’re running Windows, you have a clock on your desktop already. If you need two, you know where to go.
