With Appointments By Email schedule appointments using just plain text email. It automatically add appointments to your calendar by sending an email with a date/time and a message describing the appointment. Coordinate home/office calendars, add appointments from a Blackberry RIM, or send in appointments over the web. It accepts plain text emails with appointment information and adds it to your calendar. You can specify the appointment start/end time, subject, location, notes, and whether it is an all day event or not. It features easily enable or disable the add-in, monitors folders other than the Inbox, allows the computer to respond to the appointment email, responds to indicate if the appointment has been accepted or conflicts with another appointment, integrates directly into Outlook, and coded to avoid the Outlook security prompts

Microsoft Outlook Express is a free, basic email program. You can import email messages and account information from Outlook Express into Microsoft Outlook.In Outlook Express, each mail folder corresponds to a single file. For example, the Inbox folder in Outlook Express is a single file, Inbox.dbx. Conversely, Outlook stores each message as an individual file. If Outlook Express and Outlook are installed on different computers, you need to know this information so that you can find and copy the correct folder when needed.

To import email messages, choose a procedure based on whether Outlook Express and Outlook are installed on the same or on different computers.

    How to schedule a meeting

    At Indiana University, you can use the Calendar function in Microsoft Outlook to invite attendees to a meeting, and to reserve rooms and resources (e.g., projectors or other devices your department provides within the Microsoft Exchange environment). To schedule a meeting in Outlook 2000, 2002, 2003:

    1. In Outlook, from the File menu, select New, and then Meeting Request. The Untitled - Meeting window will appear.
    2. Click the Scheduling tab.
    3. Complete the “Meeting start time:” and “Meeting end time:” fields at the bottom of the window. You can easily change these.
