TaskBuster
Developer’s Description
TaskBuster makes using and managing good strong passwords easy. Maintained by a simple table, passwords are generated, not stored then reproduced only on entry of your one unique Pinkey, which is it not stored. TaskBuster makes problems with passwords a thing of the past. Memo Manager stores and sorts your reminders. Deal with bills as they fall due then archive the results. Keep your back ups current with TaskBuster’s Flash Manager
TaskBuster Django Tutorial
I am really excited to present this Django tutorial, made with Django 1.8 and Python 3.
In this tutorial, I will show you how to create a Django Project from scratch.
I will focus in a simple Task manager project, but the idea is that you can follow this tutorial while building your own project.
Specially during the first posts. And you will be able to download a Django Project Boilerplate too! 🙂
However, this is not a common Django tutorial.
It is much better: it is like a check list to create a complex Django project.
You will learn about security issues, different environments for developing and testing, version control repositories, deployment on Heroku, PostgreSQL configuration, and many more things!

Starting to build up a big list of passwords and struggling to remember them all? Worried about password security? TaskBuster uses your one unique PinKey together with account name and account detail to generate your passwords as you need them. The same PinKey with the same account generates the same password without storing it. Would you like a nice orderly dynamic list of the tasks you set for yourself sorted by due date? Add a memo or reminder as matters like bills and important dates arise, then deal with them as they fall due. Permanently archive your memos by subject as they are dealt with for an easy to follow trail of your activities. Back ups not up to date? Use TaskBuster.
I’ve been working with django for a while. In fact, I used it for the main applications for the two startups I founded, which are “successful” I guess. Over the last weeks, I’ve seen questions on this sub regarding how to host an application in a production environment.
And frankly, I did not agree with all answers. They were mainly directed at setting up everything to be cloud-native and let me tell you, this is a massive overkill both in terms of financial costs and complexity.
TaskBuster is a Windows based 3 in 1 personal productivity tool to help manage passwords, memos and archives and help you maintain regular back ups. TaskBuster uses one unique pinkey to generate your passwords only when you need them. This tutorial covers documentation. The TaskBuster project is a fully documented, functional home page that supports internationalization, localization, time zones, and testing covers it all.
However, I prepared this project with collaborators in mind. You can download what others have made so far and use it as a template for your own Django project.
However, it should be well documented so that others have all the information they need to download, install, configure, and run it.
